Welcome!

Bem-vindo! We are Shawn and Sarah Gardner, American missionaries working in Nampula, Mozambique. Our family includes Benjamin (1/28/03), Olivia (2/21/05) and Caleb (8/17/06).

We have been working in Mozambique since 2001. Our main ministry is discipleship and our goal is to train up several strong disciples who can be the future leaders of the churches in Mozambique. We also want to train the disciples to be disciple-makers, managers and community-changers!

Due to a medical crisis our son Caleb experienced in Aug-Oct 2007, we will be moving to NELSPRUIT, SOUTH AFRICA in June, 2008. We will continue to be involved in the ministry in Mozambique but Caleb will be able to get the physical therapy that he needs while we live in South Africa.

Thank-you for your interest in this work! To God be the Glory!

Prayer for Caleb
April 12, 2008 - Caleb is definitely improving, but it is slow. Last week his occupational therapist gave him an infant development test and his minimum level score was at a 5 month old stage. While he has a few skills higher than this, it was still very hard to hear that cognitively his baseline level is as if ... Read more
